As a Host
🌿 Remote Ruby
I co-host the Remote Ruby podcast alongside Chris Oliver and Jason Charnes. We talk a lot about Ruby and Ruby on Rails, as well as other topics ranging from JavaScript to mental health. We also interview cool people in the community like Mike Perham, Adam Wathan, and even DHH.
🍂 The Ruby Blend
For the first half of 2020, I co-hosted The Ruby Blend alongside Nate Hopkins and Ron Cooke. We ended the show in September, 2020 after some major life changes forced our attention elsewhere. The Ruby Blend focused on what was happening in the Ruby and Ruby on Rails development community, and featured lots of discussion around what we were working on and thinking about. We had a few notable interviews as well with folks like Brittany Martin, Joel Hawksley, Julian Rubisch, and Jason Swett.
🍂 Ruby Rogues
I was also a panelist on Ruby Rogues from late 2018 until the end of 2019. This is where I got my initial start in the community and in the Ruby podcast ecosystem. This is where I would meet Nate Hopkins and Eric Berry, whom I would later join at [[CodeFund]], as well as Dave Kimura who runs Drifting Ruby.
As a Guest
Ruby on Rails Podcast
ViewComponents in Action: I join Brittany Martin on the 5by5 Ruby on Rails Podcast to discuss how we were using ViewComponents at CodeFund. I have been a longtime listener of the show so this was one of my favorites.
Rails with Jason
Two Docker Noobs talk about Docker: I join Jason Swett to talk about one thing but we end up discussing Docker for the majority of the show.
Remote Ruby
Joined by Andrew Mason: Chris Oliver and Jason Charnes interview me on Remote Ruby in the Fall of 2019. A few months later I ended up joining the show as one of the hosts.
My Ruby Story
#74: Andrew Mason: Charles Max Wood interviews a very junior me shortly after I joined the Ruby Rogues as a panelist at the end of 2018.
The Ruby Testing Podcast
Testing Q&A: I ask Jason Swett questions about testing from a beginner’s perspective in my very first podcast recording. Unfortunately the show has since been discontinued.
